This is such a mini project, but I absolutely LOVE them! These DIY notebooks were SO easy to personalize and they have the cute factor going for them anyways, all bright and beautiful.
They are the perfect size for little notes, grocery lists and even for little hands at church or appointments (see the comparison of the notebook with my hand below)– and I thought they were such a good price at $0.67 each! They are covered with a poly cover that won’t tear or rip so it keeps your pages safe from wearing and everything is cuter when it’s mini right?
I bought five, three for me, and one for each of my girls for coloring, but I’m going to go get some more. If you live in Utah County and don’t see any in your Walmart, it may be because I came and swept them clean out. LOL. I think these would be darling tied up in bundles as a thank you gift for a friend. Just add a vinyl monogram!
Mini Personalized DIY Notebooks
So to make these fun mini DIY notebooks, all I did was cut out some black vinyl with my Cricut Explore and put it on the notebook. If you’ve never used vinyl, it’s so easy! And you can literally put it on EVERYTHING- glass, paper, walls, notebooks, wood, metal…Here’s my tutorial on how to cut vinyl with a Cricut machine and you can find my tutorial on how to apply vinyl here.
I know I’m always reaching for a place to write down notes, to-do lists, grocery lists, blog post ideas, craft ideas…the “list” goes on (haha), so these were perfect for me. If you couldn’t tell, I’m a fanatic about list making, but it helps me keep organized– most of the time.
If you want to “kick it up a notch”, as my brother-in-law Steve would say, add some washi tape or let the kids add stickers–mine chose Frozen . 🙂 You could also try adding some zentangles on your cover!
