When I was young my family and I would take vacations to visit my great grandparents in Salt Lake.
Pop would get all of us kids a dish of vanilla ice cream and walk us downstairs to give each of us a Barnum’s Animal Cracker box. You know the ones I’m talking about–the one with the circus animals and the string handle. This was such a highlight and we loved it, or at least I did! It seemed like they had hundreds stacked in their storage. After perusing through all of Grams jewelry, we would go into the family room and sit on pop’s lap while he read us books. We would finish the night by playing my all-time favorite game–Snake Eyes!
Lucky for me, I still get to play Snake Eyes with my grandma today. These are some of my “sweetest” memories of my great grandparents as well as my own grandparents so I thought I would share my own “sweet” version of Snake Eyes with you! Below you’ll find the FREE printable and instructions on how to play to make your own set of cards. This is such an addicting, simple and fun game of chance– I know you’ll love it!
What you need:
4-12×12 plain cardstock (Light colored)
4-12×12 patterned scrapbook paper (I used gold shimmer and florals- this is the back of your cards)
4- sets of printables (Find them at the end of the post)
How to make it:
1. Glue your printables to your cardstock. Make sure all bubbles are pressed out.
2. Glue your patterned paper to the opposite side of the cardstock so that the cardstock is sandwiched in the middle and your patterned paper and printables are facing outward.3. Cut out each card with a paper cutter.
4. Enjoy playing your new “sweet” game!
HERE are the printables. (Right click each image and choose “Save image as”. Once image is saved, open and print on 8.5 x 11 paper.)Enjoy!
