The older kids get, the more fun things they want to do for Valentines. I couldn’t help but get excited about these Valentines for my daughter and they sure rocked the Valentine exchange at school. Free downloadable artwork is available at the end of the post.
The iPod Valentine Boxes are made to cover a standard conversation heart box but are also strong enough to hold any other small treats. The headphones are Rolos and the cord was a fun hollow mesh string, but yarn works great too.
The box templates print out easily on card-stock, two per sheet. I highly recommend using a scoring tool to help all the folds be crisp and clean. I had my daughter cut out the shapes while I scored the folds.
Once folded, I taped them over the top of the conversation heart box.
A dot of hot glue works best for attaching the cords to the box and the ear pieces to the cords.
To keep things from getting tangled we wrapped the cord around the box and secured it with a rubber band. This made it a lot easier to pack up.
Every rocking chick needs a boom box to captured all her Valentines in. So we went for a historic 80’s rockin’ boom box.
Hope you have a rockin’ Valentines Day! Lots of love!
