The holidays can be stressful at times so make it easy on yourself this year by using stuff around your house for your Thanksgiving tablescape. I’ve put together some cute ideas for easy place settings as well as a free printable silverware holder so check it out!
Many of us don’t have fancy china to use or have several sets of dinnerware but not enough for everyone in the same set. Don’t be afraid to mix and match sets, by alternating color or texture you can still have a visually appealing dinner table and you won’t have to go out and buy china.
Another option for less hassle is using paper goods. You can buy some pretty durable dinner plates which are plain white. Spruce it up with some color in your decor or centerpieces. The best part about this is easy clean up! Personally, I like plain and simple better anyways!
Now to the decorations, my favorite part!
Look around your house for everyday decorations that you could use as centerpieces. Often times, the things you have set up everyday can be switched in for a holiday table centerpiece by adding a little something. I found my candle and hurricane that I have sitting on my table and added some fall red and orange garland berries and a strip of fabric I had to add as a table runner.
Bonus Tip: Another fun idea for a thanksgiving centerpiece are picture frames of friends and family. It’s always fun to showcase what you’re most thankful for! If you needed them to match the rest of your decor, you could go buy a few packs at the dollar store and mock them up with some spray paint.
